Gmail requires an app password instead of your normal password.

If you use Gmail with third-party tools (like this IMAP Sync mail online tool), and you have 2-Step Verification enabled, your normal password won’t work.

Instead, Google requires you to generate an App Password — a one-time 16-digit code — to allow access securely.

Steps: How to Generate a Google App Password

  1. Go to:
  2. Sign in with your Gmail account if prompted
  3. Enter a name for the app (e.g. syncmail.online)
  4. Click “Generate”
  5. Google will show you a 16-character App Password
Copy this code & Remove the space !!!
  6. Paste this App Password into the Password field in the plugin (not your regular password)
  7. Click Done
