Outlook/Hotmail/Live requires an app password instead of your normal password.

If you use Outlook, Hotmail or Live.com email with an external tool like IMAP Migration Tool, and you have 2-Step Verification enabled, your regular password won’t work.

You need to use a special one-time App Password instead.
